From the wonderfully obtuse opening time of four minutes before nine and the elaborate dried flower arrangements dotted around the coffee shop to the ice cream squeezed out an ‘espresso machine’!
Viervorneun: The Story
The name “Viervorneun” isn’t just a quirky choice; it’s a clever blend of function and location. From the time it opens its doors at 8:56 (an hour later on weekends) to its street address playing on how Germans pronounce numbers, with the second number always coming first.
Moreover, the Viervorneun story is about two friends coming together and creating their stamp in the ever-growing Frankfurt coffee scene.
Absolutely, the owners, Ngoc Nguyen and Quynh Anh Nguyen, have created a little bit of magic on Nordend’s streets.
The Vibe
Bustling. In our opinion, what sets Viervorneun apart is its fabulous decor, which includes an abundance of dried flowers decorating every corner of the space. Each arrangement is meticulously crafted, showcasing a range of colours, textures, and forms that create a serene and romantic atmosphere. Moreover, the dried flowers are more than mere decorations—they’re integral to the café’s identity.
