Sachsenhausen lies just south of the river and has plenty of charm, a culture melting pot and thus, for good reason is one of the most populated neighbourhoods in Frankfurt.

First, art lovers are drawn to the magnificent museums along Museumsufer. Second, those with a penchant for coffee frequent the quaint cafes, immersing themselves in the cafe culture. Finally, social individuals gravitate toward the numerous relaxed bars and restaurants scattered along the river and in the heart of Sachsenhausen itself. Sachsenhausen is also home to some of the famous Apfelwein taverns lining the Rittegasse pedestrian area.

Schweizerstraße, renowned for its cobblestone streets, is the main thoroughfare and offers excellent shopping opportunities. However, if you seek well-known high-street brands, Zeil is your go-to destination!

Attracting a younger demographic, apartments in Sachsenhausen can be rented at relatively affordable prices, with some boasting glorious views of the river.
