Senckenberg Natural History Museum is one of Germany’s largest natural history museums. It’s a great morning out (particularly the rainy grey variety) with the kids. The giant dinosaur skeletons, mummies, stuffed animals, and fossils set little imaginations free to entertain all possibilities!

Getting to the Senckenberg Natural History Museum

  • Ubahn:  U6 and U7 – stop at “Bockenheimer Warte” station and 3 minute walk; U4 – stop at “Bockenheimer Warte” station and then a 2 minute walk
  • Sbahn:  S3, S4, S5 and S6 – stop at “Westbahnhof” station and then a 10 minute walk
  • Bus:  Line 32 – “Senckenbergmuseum” stop

Good to know:

  • large luggage and baby strollers are not allowed inside the museum
