Balthasar Ress Weinbar and Vinothek sits almost unassumingly in DomRömer-Quartier…walk in however and you realise it’s something special! The owners are 5th generation winemakers who not only bring you delicious wines but have taken care creating a wonderfully intimate space with sumptuous finishes and lighting for you to fully immerse yourself and enjoy them in!
Another wonderful revelation is that all wines on the wine list are offered by the glass, including rarities from the families private cellar…of course price is relative ????
So, if you find yourself wondering around the Römerhof weihnachtsmarkt and like me need to escape the cold because the Glühwein just isn’t cutting it….I highly recommend a glass of whatever tickles your fancy at Balthasar’s!!
