Lucille Kaffeehaus is a serene cafe with its beautiful interior and excellent menu, ideal for breakfast and lunch. Open from 10am to 5pm on Tuesday and Wednesday.  And on Thursday and Fridays this lovely cafe turns into a bar and closes at 1am. The staff are super nice, and both kids and dogs are welcome. Located north of the city center in the Nordend it is neighbours to Memphis Records, you’ll find all the locals hanging out here.

The Story Behind Lucille Kaffeehaus

Mehran Alvani is no stranger to new beginnings!  Originally from Iran he came to Germany with a not much more than the shirt on his back and a determination to grab life with both hands!  Gastronomy was the dream, cooking his passion and in service a way of life! Prior to Lucille Kaffeehaus he worked in social work for many years before he finally ventured into the gastronomy world.

The Menu

With their menu changing weekly you’ll find dishes like potatoes, vegetables and Frankfurt’s special green sauce, Dahl and a chicken breast in a mushroom sauce. All very fresh and super scrumptious.

On Thursday and Friday it’s tapa’s night and cocktails!

Good to know:
  • The Shakshuka is very popular and not cooked with paprika
  • They use Fair Trade coffee from local roaster Hoppenworth and Ploch
